We pride ourselves on being an international university and international students make up about one third of our student population.
We currently have 10 Indonesian students, all taking Masters programmes.

These entry requirements are intended as a guide only. Please contact us or the School's admissions tutor to find out the actual requirements for the programme you want to study.
Students with Surat Tanda Tamat Belajar Sekolah Menengah Umum Tingkat Atas (STTB/SMA) are required to take a foundation course, which are available at our Dubai and Malaysia campuses.
For most of our Masters level programmes we require a good first degree in a relevant subject.
For PhD level study, you should have completed a postgraduate qualification equivalent to a UK Masters degree. You also need to provide a research proposal.
English language requirements
If you do not meet our English language requirements, you can apply to one of our academic English programmes, which are specifically designed to prepare you with the language and study skills needed for academic study.
Tuition fees are listed alongside each programme in the online prospectuses.
Tuition fees are higher for international students. If you are unsure what your residency status is, you can complete a fee status enquiry form, which allows us to assess whether you have a relevant connection to the UK that might positively influence your fee status:

If you have identified an area of research that matches your subject area, you should complete an application in the usual way by using our online application form.
You will need to submit a research proposal along with your application. This proposal should answer the following questions:
- What is your particular research question, hypothesis or area?
- How do you propose to address this question or to develop the field?
- What research methods do you intend to use?
- How do you see your work in the wider context of the discipline? How does it relate to existing work in the area?
The PhD degree is awarded in recognition of a body of work that represents a significant contribution to learning. A PhD is a rigorous enterprise and must show evidence of originality. This may consist in the discovery of new knowledge, the production of a new understanding or interpretation.
Your complete application will then be considered by the PhD selectors.
