Overview
This offer provides eligible undergraduate students starting in September 2026 free accommodation for first semester, saving you over £3,000 in living costs in your first year at Heriot-Watt. If you are staying at our Scottish Borders campus the value is £2,700.
No separate application is required. The bursary will be included in your accommodation offer once you apply for accommodation.
Applications for accommodation open 2 March 2026.
Please note: if you defer your entry to September 2027, this cannot be guaranteed. If you do not plan to live in Heriot-Watt accommodation, please contact us for further information.
Eligibility
Open to students with a Rest of UK (RUK) fee status who are starting a full-time undergraduate degree at Heriot-Watt in September 2026.
