International Student Advice
Our International Student Advice Office (ISA) provides advice and assistance to international students based at one of our UK campuses. If you have any concerns or queries, our staff will be happy to help you. They can provide a wide range of information and support, from immigration advice to welfare issues.
ISA has close links with all academic Schools within the University across all of its campuses, and with support services such as Recruitment and Admissions (International Recruitment Section), Student Wellbeing Services, and the University Chaplaincy.
Our International Student Advisor is Louise Bingham, who is supported by Pauline Cowan, International Student Support Assistant. Pauline is your first point of contact and can be reached by email or phone. If your enquiry is more complex then a one-to-one appointment with Louise can be arranged.
ISA is based in the Hugh Nisbet Building on the Edinburgh Campus. You'll find the office within the Student Service Centre.
ISA is open:
Monday and Friday: 9.30 am - 1.00 pm
Tuesday - Thursday: 9.30 am - 1.00 pm, and 2.00 pm - 4.00 pm
