HW Exchange and HW Connect

HW Exchange and HW Connect events are bespoke programmes aiming to develop innovative ideas for research collaboration across schools and with external partners.

Themes addressed during these two day programmes include:

• Interactive sessions on collaboration and interdisciplinarity
• Engaging with the public and policymakers via collaborative research
• Formulating novel proposals for interdisciplinary projects which are then pitched to a panel at the end of the event.

HW Exchange's have included programmes with the British Geological Survey, the Moredun Research Institute, the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland and the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service (SNBTS).

The programmes are "demand led", addressing the strategic needs of the University/Schools. If you would like to discuss a potential Exchange event with external partners, please get in touch with colleagues in RFA.
