The Organisational Development (OD) team’s purpose is to support the University to achieve its strategic aims by enabling our people to be the best they can. We do this by working collaboratively with leaders, managers and staff to:

  • Enhance performance of staff members, teams and Heriot-Watt as an organisation
  • Develop people and leadership capability,
  • Create pride and belonging with Heriot-Watt University employees

OD is part of Human Resource Development (HRD) which incorporates Human Resources, Organisational Development and the Centre for Academic Leadership & Development.
