We collect and publish a range of employee information to help us know more about ‘who we are’. The information supports us both in meeting our legal requirements and in understanding how we are changing over time. Our employee data also assists us in understand more about the experiences of people working with us so that we can continually improve our colleague experience.

The information we collect is used in a number of different ways. We report annually to the Higher Education Statistics Agency, our data helps us to make submissions to the Athena SWAN Charter and our data gives us baseline information to help us take forward equality and diversity activity.
