University Committee for Quality and Standards
The University Committee for Quality and Standards (UCQS) is responsible, on behalf of the Senate, for all aspects of academic quality assurance including:
- progressing or engaging with institutional policy development;
- monitoring and review; and
- oversight of the Quality Assurance Framework.

The Studies Committee carries out work on behalf of and reports to the University Committee for Quality and Standards. The Studies Committee has a fundamental role in assuring the academic standards of the University’s undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes of study.
