Here at Heriot-Watt we have state of the art interpreting equipment including brand new interpreting labs and excellent library facilities. Located on the outskirts of Edinburgh, Scotland’s capital city, Heriot-Watt's Edinburgh campus is situated in 480 acres of beautiful parkland.
Our Interpreting and Translating in Scotland course will introduce you to basic techniques of translating and interpreting between between Spanish and English. It will run over three weeks and will be taught by expert staff members from the Department of Languages and Intercultural Studies (LINCS), part of the School of Social Sciences. LINCS has been offering courses in Translation and Interpreting since 1970 and is one of only four UK university departments that have been granted membership of CIUTI, an international body that brings together universities which specialising in translating and interpreter training.
