Helen Mackenzie is a highly skilled learning and development professional with 35 years’ experience in the public, private, not-for-profit and academic sectors. With a BA in Physiology and Health Studies, a Law degree and a post-graduate qualification in HRM, Helen is a Fellow of the CIPD and an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She has worked for the NHS, Imperial Chemical Industries and DuPont in several senior management positions covering project management, learning and development, HR and continuous improvement. As a Master Black Belt she was the Six Sigma Champion for one of DuPont’s global businesses where her responsibilities included delivering green belt, black belt and lean training to an international standard for around 100 participants per year. She is a Career Mentor with the CIPD and a Visiting Professor at Heriot Watt University.
