Our series of UG Open Days for 2016 entry were very successful. MACS staff were delighted to welcome prospective students and their guests to our Edinburgh campus last month, who were given a traditional Scottish welcome on arrival by our piper!

Presentations were given throughout the day on a drop-in basis and current students led visitors on tours of our extensive campus facilities, including some of our on campus student accommodations and mock up rooms of our new halls of residence, due for completion in 2016.

Visitors to MACS were taken on a tour of our School facilities and shown around our interactive Student Learning Zone, the MACS School Office and one of our Computer labs. Computer Science students were also shown around our state of the art Robotics Lab (part of the Edinburgh Centre for Robotics) and were even introduced to some of our robots. Our friendly academic staff were on hand throughout the day to chat about specific programme choices and give advice to prospective students.

We hope everyone who attended enjoyed the day as much as we did!

You can visit MACS online at any time and take a 360 degree tour of our teaching facilities and computing labs.
