IMPEE ECR Conference 2015

Four PhD students were each presented with £500 bursaries for their work at the Institute of Mechanical, Process and Energy Engineering (IMPEE) conference, held on 14th of August 2015 at Heriot Watt University.

This was the third IMPEE conference, held to stimulate networking and enhance research within the Institute. The conference, largely attended by early researchers, academics and postgraduate taught students, promoted the scale of cross-disciplinary research being conducted by the Institute, particularly in the areas of energy, chemical and process engineering and product design and manufacturing.

The winning students were Mr. Ghanizadeh Tabriz, Atabak (forth from left), Mr. Cornelissen, Dirk-Jan (fifth) from left for oral presentations and Ms. Swati, Swati (third from right), Ms Dr. Le Pense, Solenn (second from left) for poster presentation. The prices were presented by the Deputy Head of IMPEE.
