High Performance Computing (HPC)

The Computational Engineering Research (CER) group at the Institute of Mechanical, Process and Energy Engineering (IMPEE) at Heriot-Watt University host a High Performance Computing (HPC) facility where we exploit the parallel capabilities of modern multi-threaded and multi-core CPUs and GPUs. The computing facility consist of several multi-core CPU and GPU systems which currently totals over 90 CPU cores and 4700 GPU cores.
