Biography
  • 2006: Dr Gabriela Medero was appointed as a lecturer in Civil Engineering within the School of the Built Environment at Heriot-Watt University.
  • 2005: PhD degree - joint degree between Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil and University of Glasgow in the UK.
  • 2003: awarded a prize as ‘Young Geotechnical Engineer' from the British Institution of Civil Engineers – Scottish Geotechnical Group and Geological Society.
  • 2001: Master of Science (MSc) from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Porto Alegre, Brazil).
  • 1999: MEng in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Porto Alegre, Brazil).
