Why did you decide to study your PhD at Heriot-Watt University?

What was your experience of studying your PhD with the Carbonate Reservoirs group at Heriot-Watt University?

My experience in the Carbonate Reservoir Group was one of the best experiences of my life. The group is diverse in terms of multi disciplinary researches, different nationalities and wide range of technical ability and background, making the research environment friendly and enjoyable.

Can you tell us a bit about what you're currently doing?

Currently, I am working for Petroleum Development Oman as Reservoir Engineer in the Field Development Centre. My main work is focused on integrated subsurface study and simulation model development, handling subsurface uncertainties, history matching, forecasting and field development planning. Additionally, I am coordinating different studies to ensure meeting their milestones.
