Edinburgh:

27 September, 10 – 4pm / 25 October, 12 - 6pm

Scottish Borders:

10 October, 10 – 3pm / 7 November, 10 – 3pm

Our open days are the perfect chance to explore Heriot-Watt's courses and campuses. Whether you’re interested in studying engineering, business, psychology, computer science, fashion, or sports and exercise science, you’ll get a real feel for the university student experience through campus tours, conversations with current students and Q&As with our world-class academics. It’s your chance to find out if Heriot-Watt is the right fit for you, so come along, ask questions, and start shaping your future.

Where is Heriot-Watt?

Closer than you think

Our Edinburgh Campus is six miles from the city centre and buses take just 30 minutes, stopping outside our main entrance. Our Scottish Borders Campus is a quick 40-minute train from Edinburgh, and just 50 minutes from Glasgow.

Our open days provide you with the opportunity to immerse yourself in the university experience and discover more about the subject you are interested in studying. You’ll have the chance to:

  • Attend talks on university life, subjects and more.
  • Join a guided tour.
  • Visit our halls of residence.
  • Chat to academics, staff and current students.
  • Explore our campus facilities including the Oriam, Student Union and all our food outlet options.
