The Stantec, Heriot-Watt, ICE Lecture on Resilience

Heriot-Watt University, Stantec and the Institution of Civil Engineers, are holding the sixth, and last in the series, of annual prestige lectures on the critically important global theme of Resilience.
These lectures are part of the ICE’s ‘Shaping the World’ initiative and are high profile events engaging Government and Industry leaders.
This year’s theme is “Climate, AI and Resilience” and the lecture, “Using AI to assess climate risks in the built environment” will be delivered by Dr Scott Hosking, Head of the Environmental Data Science Group, British Antarctic Survey.
The lecture will take place on the evening of Wednesday 27th November 2019, with registration commencing at 18.00hrs, at the Postgraduate Centre on Heriot-Watt's Edinburgh Campus. The lecture will be followed by a panel discussion and a drinks reception.
