Heriot-Watt University Dubai Campus together with CIB TG96 are organising an international conference on smart built environment. Developing and integrating the various aspects of the built environment and infrastructure in a smart approach is a great challenge for today’s cities. Some of the key encounters facing the world growing cities and urbanization development include: affordable housing, employment, transportation, energy, clean water, food supply, quality education and health services, pollution, waste management, etc. This conference is focused on how the construction industry can accelerate the pace of innovation to deliver a smart built environment.
