Guidance on time off when working beyond normal working patterns

Published:

The University recognises that there are times when the scheduling of special events such as graduations, and travelling/working away from the normal place of work, requires colleagues to work beyond their normal working pattern.

HR has produced a guidance document to help managers and colleagues to agree reasonable time back following specific work events or travel.

(If the link does not work, go to the main HR Policy page and look under Leave of Absence.)

A more detailed policy, outlining managing expectations and working time will be developed later, to encompass different working patterns, requirements and timing of events across all our campuses.

Further details on consultation will be made available in due course.
