Patricia Duncan, Teaching & Learning Manager at Heriot-Watt's School of Engineering and Physical Sciences (EPS), was recently awarded an Honorary Degree from the Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS).
The award recognises Patricia's work over the last 6 years directly supporting the arrangements EPS have with BHOS.
She was presented with an Honorary Diploma at this year's graduation event at the Baku, Azerbaijan Campus.
The students also presented Patricia with a certificate of appreciation for the support given to them over their 4 years of study with Heriot Watt University.
Patricia Duncan said: “I am very pleased to receive this award from the Baku Higher Oil School. It was a great personal achievement and also an achievement for Professional Services staff to be recognised in this way. This is an honour that I will always treasure.”
