Heriot-Watt student satisfaction soars

The National Student Survey 2019 (NSS 2019) has been published, with excellent results for Heriot-Watt University.

As one of the highest rising institutions this year, Heriot-Watt ranked 35th in the UK and 8th in Scotland for Overall Satisfaction, scoring an impressive 85.5%. 

The high levels of student satisfaction reported in the NSS 2019 are a testament to the students and staff who have collaborated to continuously improve the student experience at Heriot-Watt.

Overall, Heriot-Watt is ranked in the top ten UK universities for Overall Satisfaction in Human Resource Management (joint 1st), Economics (3rd), Civil Engineering (4th), Physics (8th), Mathematics (9th), Statistics (9th), Others in Language & Area Studies (10th), Building (10th).

“We are now ranked in the top 10 UK universities for nine of our subjects, which is a great achievement.

The National Student Survey gathers student's opinions and the results are used by universities to drive improvements across students' academic experience.
