On 28th October our 2019 Staff Survey will open.
We want you to share your experience of working at Heriot-Watt. This is your chance to have your say on what matters to you and to help shape our University community together.
The University Executive has committed to running annual staff surveys and, after a rigorous tendering exercise, we have appointed BMG Research as our external partner to run these for the next three years.

One of the key reasons for choosing BMG to work with us over the next three years has been their willingness to understand the challenges we are facing as an organisation and how they can help us improve the experience of our employees. They have been keen to understand Strategy 2025 and the new Heriot –Watt Values. While they bring lots of experience and benchmarking information from a range of sectors, they are also keen to ensure we ask the questions that are appropriate for us to identify how and where we can make improvements.
A number of staff from across the University have been involved in the selection process, determining the questions that are to be asked, and in the testing stages. Representatives from Trade Unions have also provided advice and input throughout the process.
Please look out for further updates on the survey activity over the next few days in the run up to the launch of the survey.
