Heriot-Watt rises in latest Good University Guide

Heriot-Watt has climbed two places in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2020.

It has been ranked 33rd in the UK and has maintained its sixth place position out of all Scottish universities.

The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2020 was published on Sunday 22 September and is considered one of the most authoritative ranking awards in the UK. Its league table measures nine indicators including research quality, graduate prospects and degree completion rates.

Welcoming the announcement, Professor Julian Jones, Vice-Principal of Heriot-Watt University, said: “Retaining sixth place in Scotland and improving our position to 33rd place of The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide is an outstanding achievement for all our students and staff, whose hard work and dedication has been crucial in gaining this recognition.
