Following last week's severe weather, we can confirm that our Edinburgh and Scottish Borders campuses will be open as normal on Monday.
On both campuses the academic buildings and the library will remain closed for the rest of today and will re-open tomorrow morning. ORIAM is open today as normal.
A YELLOW weather warning remains in place and we advise the wearing of warm clothing and suitable footwear. We would ask everyone to take care when moving around the campus as conditions may still be slippery.
Car parking is reduced by about 15% due to accumulated snow but much of the campus has been cleared. Lothian Buses have announced they will be operating a normal service from tomorrow and Borders Railway are currently scheduled to run a normal weekday service.
We would like to reassure all students that if you have had assessments delayed or missed deadlines for coursework because of the closure of the campuses, Schools will make all the necessary arrangements to ensure you are not disadvantaged.
