Fashion graduate trades catwalk for Houses of Parliament

An award-winning Heriot-Watt fashion graduate traded the catwalk for the Houses of Parliament, last week.

Natalie Campbell, a recent BA (Hons) Fashion communication graduate and winner of Best Fashion Photography at Graduate Fashion Week 2018 has been exhibiting her work as part of a special exhibition in the lobbies of power.

The exhibition was part of an event showcasing a curated display of award-winning 2018 graduate work.

Featuring a range of disciplines including design, marketing, journalism, photography and knitwear – the designers chosen to take part were all winners during Graduate Fashion Week earlier this year.

The showcase, hosted by MP Damian Collins, who is chairman of the Culture, Media and Sports Committee was attended by 200 top industry guests including chief executives, founders, directors, buyers, HR, PR and design teams.

Established designers including Pam Hogg, Holly Fulton and Oliver Spencer were also present.
