More than 80 people stepped into their running shoes at the weekend to take part in the long-awaited Galashiels Colour-Run.
On Saturday 28th April, young and old took their place on the start line before tackling the 5k thigh-burning challenge around the grounds of Heriot-Watt's Scottish Borders Campus.
The popular event, which had been twice postponed due to the weather, raised £619.87 for mental health charity, SANE and Live Borders.
Lucy Graham, Vice President at the Heriot-Watt's Scottish Borders Campus, said: “We're delighted that the weather held for us – in fact it was perfect running weather! Everyone taking part had a great time and they also raised money for two well deserving charities. Our total so far looks to be £619.87, which will be split between SANE and Live Borders.”
'I would like to thank Live Borders, Scottish Borders College and Heriot-Watt University for organising the event and of course a big thank you to everyone who took part'
