As well as an annual payment of £3,000 towards the cost of studying, successful applicants will enjoy CV boosting paid work placements, delivering engineering projects on behalf of SPEN. They will also receive a company mentor and, for high performing individuals, an accelerated graduate recruitment process.

Dr David Flynn, Associate Professor, said: “This scholarship and our strategic partnership with SPEN exemplifies one of the many ways in which our students engage with industry throughout their degrees.  It's vital that academia and industry work together to support the engineers of the future.

The deadline for applications is Tuesday 31st January.
