MSc graduate awarded 2017 JLL Student Prize

Michael Hirsch, who graduated from Heriot-Watt University this month, was awarded the best performing postgraduate student in the 2016/17 MSc Real Estate Management & Development degree programme.

Each year we take great pleasure in recognising the exceptional talent being produced at Heriot-Watt University, which has educated a great number of Scotland's leading commercial property professionals.

Alasdair Humphery, JLL Scotland Lead Director, presented Michael with the JLL Student Prize and a cheque for £250 in recognition of his outstanding performance.

A former student of Heriot-Watt University's School of the Built Environment (now School of Energy, Geoscience, Infrastructure and Society), Mr Humphery graduated in 1986 before embarking on his career in commercial property.

Mr Humphery said "Each year we take great pleasure in recognising the exceptional talent being produced at Heriot-Watt University, which has educated a great number of Scotland's leading commercial property professionals."

Heriot-Watt is delighted to have the ongoing support of JLL in this and other industry initiatives. With over 50 years activity in the Scottish property market, JLL have sponsored this programme prize to Heriot Watt University since 2007.
