The Dubai campus has officially opened a new student service centre which is designed to improve the experience of students at the university and treat them like VIPs.
We want to provide our students with the same level of customer service offered to guests at five-star hotels.
The new Dubai Student Service Centre (DSSC) offers an integrated and personalised VIP service where students are assisted by a dedicated team who can arrange everything from their visa processes to their course registry – all under one roof.
Since its soft opening on the 24th November 2016, over 6,000 visits and transactions have taken place. These have included submissions, course changes, campus transfers, parking visas and finance enquiries. As the centre grows there will be more services provided in a relaxed space where students are given time, courtesy and hospitality.
Therese Cooper O'Dell, Manager of the Dubai Student Services Centre at Heriot-Watt University, said: “The philosophy of the DSSC is to provide a customer-focused service, where students are viewed as clients and given an outstanding experience. We want to provide our students with the same level of customer service offered to guests at five-star hotels. We will provide an individual, personalised service that treats every student as a VIP.”
