Heriot-Watt’s Confucius Institute is delighted to support the first ever China Scotland Business Awards 2018 to celebrate the bond between both countries.
The Institute, which was opened in 2013 with the aim of enhancing Scotland’s educational links with China, has sponsored the Business Education Collaboration award, which will be announced at a special ceremony in Glasgow on Thursday 1 February.
A total of five awards will be handed out on the night with nominations for each now open.
Professor Ian Baxter, Director of the Confucius Institute said, “The University has a large number of partnerships and collaborations with businesses and Universities in China – and of course welcomes many Chinese students to study with us. The opportunity to support an award which celebrates business-education collaboration further strengthens our commitment to global industrial relationships and enterprise.”
The event is being organised by the China-Britain Business Council with the deadline for award nominations set for 8 December.
