Dr Jim Somerville, Dominic Tatum and Peter Olden from the Institute of Petroleum Engineering hosted a one day course on 30th April for invited guests of Cluff Natural Resources plc.

This course was commissioned by Andrew Nunn, Chief Operating Officer Cluff Natural Resources plc, and aimed to provide an understanding of some of the issues related to the exploitation of coal resources using underground gasification.

19 delegates attended and these included representatives from Fife, and Falkirk Council, Scottish Enterprise, SEPA, ERM and Marine Scotland.
