A group of eight Heriot-Watt Textiles and Design students is heading off to take part in the UK Great Graduate Show in Beijing. The show, hosted by the British Council in China, is curated by Jimmy Choo and aims to showcase UK creative talent within a Chinese context, as a reflection of the calibre of creative education in the UK.

The event, which opens firstly to invited industry audiences and later to the general public, involves four categories; product design, illustration, film, jewellery and fashion and will showcase high-end, contemporary fashion design, technical garment construction, innovative print and knit design and observational photography.
