Heriot-Watt University’s summer 2015 graduation season opened with the Scottish Borders Campus graduations for students from the School of Textiles and Design and Borders Business Programme students from the School of Management and Languages.
Over 150 graduates and their families gathered for the ceremony on Friday 19 June at Old Parish and Saint Paul’s Church, before processing down to Old Gala House where a reception was held in the formal gardens.
The ceremony, which also included the announcement of the winners of a wide range of industry funded prizes, was hosted by University Chancellor Bob Buchan and Acting Principal Professor Julian Jones and Fiona Waldron, Head of the School of Textiles and Design.
