Lord Provost of the City of Edinburgh visits Dubai Campus on 10th anniversary

We were honored to host The Rt. Hon. Donald Wilson and his team here at the Heriot-Watt Dubai campus to commemorate our tenth anniversary.

The Rt. Hon. Donald Wilson, Lord Lieutenant and Lord Provost of the City of Edinburgh, visited Heriot-Watt’s Dubai Campus as part of the anniversary celebrations.

 Dr. Simon Gage, Director of the Edinburgh International Science Festival, Mr. Graham Hatton, Senior Economic Development Officer and Ms. Mary Black, City Officer were also part of the visiting group, which toured the campus and met with faculty and students to discuss the University’s development over the course of the past 10 years.

 Provost Wilson also presented Professor Ammar Kaka, Head of Campus, Executive Dean Heriot-Watt University Dubai and Vice-Principal (Dubai) with a certificate to mark the University’s 10 year anniversary.

 Commenting on the visit, Professor Ammar Kaka said, “We were honored to host The Rt. Hon. Donald Wilson and his team here at the Heriot-Watt Dubai campus to commemorate our tenth anniversary. We look forward to working with them further during their tenure in office in support of the continued growth and development of the University.”
