Half a million pounds is being spent on learning and teaching infrastructure at the University’s Edinburgh campus over the summer.
The work will include the refurbishment of centrally timetabled lecture theatres, tutorial and seminar rooms as well as upgrading the audio visual infrastructure in a number of key teaching rooms across the campus.

Professor John Sawkins, Deputy Principal Learning and Teaching, stressed that the work is being undertaken in partnership with the Student Union, to ensure that it reflects and addresses the requirements of the student body. “This work is part of a longer term programme of enhancement of learning and teaching study spaces at the Edinburgh Campus. We are delighted that we have been able to work closely with the student union in an effective partnership which will help to ensure a top level student experience.”
