Heriot-Watt University's Centre for Sport and Exercise (CSE) has been rated ‘Excellent’ by Quest, a company which defines industry good practice and standards, making it the only University Centre with such a rating in the UK and placing it in the top 70 of over 600 Quest assessed centres nationally.
This is a proud day for the Centre for Sport and Exercise and is a deserved reward for the whole team, all of whom have contributed to this success.
The ranking follows a rigorous facility management assessment by Quest, who work for continuous improvement in the management of leisure facilities and leisure development and encourage their ongoing development and delivery within a customer-focused management framework.
The Quest report highlighted the CSE’s Integrated Management System and E-learning training centre for staff and the excellent systems and initiatives put in place through the Exercise Department and Community Sports Hub.
Operations Manager, Olly Robertson, who led the assessment for the CSE, said, "This is a proud day for the Centre for Sport and Exercise and is a deserved reward for the whole team, all of whom have contributed to this success. Our hope is that their efforts and the new status rating are reflected in an enjoyable environment for customers."
