Architecture taster workshop held at Dubai Campus

Heriot-Watt University Dubai Campus hosted an Architecture and Architectural Engineering Taster Workshop on Friday 24 April attracting students from 30 schools across the UAE.

The taster session organised by the School of Energy, Geoscience, Infrastructure and Society gave potential students an insight into the University’s architecture courses, as well as life at the Dubai Campus.

The session was open for students in grades 11, 12 and 13 who had the opportunity to ask questions on the courses and engage directly with current students and academic staff.

Professor Wael Mualla, Academic Head, School of Energy, Geoscience, Infrastructure and Society at Heriot-Watt University Dubai Campus, said: “The event was a great opportunity for the Dubai Campus to meet potential students and showcase our courses.

“Our workshops are an opportunity for students to decide on the courses we have on offer and the different options students can choose from to schedule their academic learning experience.”
