Heriot-Watt University Malaysia recently marked a major milestone in its calendar by welcoming on to campus the first group of students to the Foundation Programme. A total of 65 students were registered against an original target of 45. Heriot-Watt University Malaysia has attracted a very high calibre of students to its inaugural cohort, where almost half of the students scored 7 As and above in the Malaysian equivalent of O level examinations.
47 Foundation in Science students and 18 Foundation in Business students began their orientation programme with a welcome message and introduction to the university.
The programme also included information briefings for parents and a tour of Putrajaya and Cyberjaya, including visiting the new campus and a lake cruise treasure hunt.
