The MSc in Carbon and Energy Management has been granted Chartered Energy Manager accreditation by the Energy Institute (EI). This accreditation has been backdated to include all cohorts who have completed the programme since its introduction in 2011. The full accreditation is an important recognition for the programme and is excellent news for those students studying on the MSc who wish to attain Chartered Energy Manager status.
Dr Gill Menzies, programme leader for the MSc in Carbon and Energy Management, said: "Students graduating from this programme have a bright and challenging career ahead of them. The EI is the only professional body serving the entire energy sector. Professional membership and chartership opens new opportunities in a fast moving industry."
