Kathryn Johnstone, a third year BSc Sport and Exercise student, had success at the Scottish Gas National Open Championships in Glasgow from 13 to 16 June 2013.
Kathryn came first in 50m and 100m Breaststroke, FC Relay split and Medley Relay split. She also came second in the 200m Breaststroke event.
Her next goal is the 2013 World Swimming Championships in Barcelona in July 2013.
Kathryn is a Heriot-Watt sports scholar. She said of the scheme, "Without its support I would majorly struggle to not only fund my sport but to juggle both university and swimming."
