The Saltire Foundation, Scotland's business leadership programme, has welcomed 104 students to its 2013 Undergraduate Internship Programme.
Internships across all fields
Seven students from Heriot-Watt University have earned placements on this year's programme from a variety of departments across the University. They will be working with leading companies including Gallus BioPharmaceuticals, GE and GlaxoSmithKline and undertaking their internships across the USA and within the UK.
The 2013 programme will help students realise their potential through challenging work experience, an increasing knowledge of the commercial world, gaining a global perspective and enjoying superb networking opportunities.
Internships are sourced in a variety of fields such as engineering, science, marketing, management, finance, arts management, video production, law, business development, tourism and hospitality and international relations.
The Heriot-Watt University students were supported throughout their application process by the University's Careers Service.
