Two Heriot-Watt academics have been elected as Fellows of the Royal Academy of Engineering, among 60 new Fellows announced at the academy's 2013 AGM.
Professor Raffaella Ocone FREng FRSE FIChemE, Professor of Chemical Engineering at the School of Engineering and Physical Sciences, and Professor Gareth Pender FREng FRSE, Professor of Environmental Engineering and Head of School of the Built Environment, are named among some of the UK's other most accomplished engineers from academia and business.
Sir John Parker GBE FREng, President of the Royal Academy of Engineering, said, "We warmly welcome our new Fellows to the Academy.
