Project management programmes gain accreditation

The School of Management & Languages has received academic accreditation from the Association for Project Management (APM) for   their postgraduate programmes in project management:

Cheryl Brownlie, Accreditation Officer for the APM, said "APM Accreditation recognises the alignment of organisations to the APM €™s definition of project management professionalism. For APM Academic Accreditation, only courses and modules which have a significant element of project management, such as the programmes at Heriot-Watt University,   can be mapped to the APM Body of Knowledge and receive accreditation."

APM Accreditation recognises the quality of our programmes and students

Amos Haniff, Programme Director

Programme Director, Amos Haniff who is a member of the APM Education Network Forum, said "APM Accreditation allows potential employers to recognise the quality of our programmes, and indeed, our graduates. By aligning our courses with the APM Body of Knowledge together with the underpinning research and academic rigour, I firmly believe we have one of the best project management offerings available."
