Dr Dan Georgi, a Baker Hughes Technology Fellow, will fly in from Texas for the second annual Heriot-Watt Industry Day. The conference will focus on advanced sensor technology, and Dr Georgi's keynote presentation will give an overview of the measurements that span the spectrum of physics used in industry.

Dr Dan Georgi, Baker Hughes Technology FellowGraduating magna cum laude in Physics from the University of California, and with an MA and PhD from Columbia University, New York, Dr Georgi's work in technology development has won numerous awards, and he now holds over 30 patents worldwide. Previously, Dr Georgi was Vice President of Baker Hughes' Regional Technology Centres where he started the Rio de Janeiro and Dhahran Research and Technology Centres.
