A graduate of the School of Textiles & Design has been chosen to show her designs in Paris.
Ruth Duff was selected by TEXPRINT from 200 other graduates to exhibit in the city of love as part of Premiere Vision from 20 to 22 September. Ruth recently graduated from the Design for Textiles programme within the School of Textiles & Design.
Texprint provides exceptional access to the best of British textile design talent - connecting industry to selected graduate designers just emerging from college or university, and to TEXPRINT alumni, many of whom now enjoy high profile creative roles within the international textile, fashion and interior design industries. Each year universities are asked to put forward graduates for selection to TEXPRINT and Ruth was put forward by Heriot-Watt University.
Ruth is no stranger to success having been given the opportunity to show her work at the Milan Furniture Fair earlier this year, flying the flag for Heriot-Watt, the Design for Textiles programme, and the School.
