Heriot-Watt University's International Strategy was launched at the House of Commons in February, sponsored by the University's very good friend and supporter, Lord O'Neill of Clackmannan.
The event was a great success at bringing together colleagues and supporters to find out more about the future plans of the University.
The International Strategy's goals are to build on our international reputation and standing, to promote Heriot-Watt as a world centre for research and innovation and global leader in high quality learning and teaching and thereby to provide sustainable growth in academic activities through financially viable international business.
International partners, business and industry contacts as well as MPs and Lords met with Heads of Schools and the Senior Management Team from the University at the event and welcomed the opportunity to find out more about the work of Heriot-Watt. There is a great enthusiasm to implement our International Strategy and to continue to build on our global success.
