Thein Chung Ket

Assistant Professor

Thein's research interests are vibrational energy harvesting, multiobjective and multidisciplinary structural optimisation using finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics and related inter/multi-disciplinary areas. He's an expert in static and hyperelastic materials using FEA.

Thein completed his PhD and BEng in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Hull, United Kingdom. After completing his PhD studies, Thein worked as a Mechanical Engineer. Prior to joining Heriot-Watt University Malaysia, he was a lecturer in for 3 years.
