Ann Marie Moohan-Sidhu

Ann Marie's research areas of interest include social and environmental accounting and sustainability in business. She is also a member of the Malaysian Institute of Management and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.


Ann Marie holds a BSc (Hons) Accounting and a PG Dip in accounting (QUB), and a Masters in Environmental and Business Management (Newcastle Australia) as well as postgrad certificates in both Academic Practice and Research Training (Newcastle University, UK). She is currently pursuing her PhD with Newcastle University, UK. She is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ireland and has spent many years in professional practice working in  one of the big 4 accounting firms up to management level in the areas of corporate insolvency, audit and business acquisitions both in the UK and Malaysia. Having spent over 10 years in professional practice she ventured into tertiary education, teaching on various accounting and finance programmes both in the UK and Malaysia. She has also taught on the ACCA and ICAEW programmes and has spent over 15 years in tertiary education on undergrad and postgrad programmes from UK, Australia and Malaysia.
