Research interests include modelling of sustainable transport operations, decarbonisation strategies, carbon-reducing technologies, supply chain collaboration, agent-based modelling in logistics, logistics databases and data analytics. Key projects:
- SRF Optimiser – Design and development of decarbonisation tool to reduce cost and carbon emissions from road freight transport
- Starfish Phase 2 – Analysing supply chain network of 10 FMCG companies to identify horizontal collaboration opportunities
- Agent-based Modelling - Modelling urban deliveries using an agent-based model to simulate urban deliveries, customer behaviour and analyse potential carbon savings by organising a network differently in Cambridge
Logistics Data - Building an integrated database that could represent all the UK road freight movements.
Areas of interest
- Sustainable logistics, logistics collaboration, agent-based modelling, transport modelling, data analytics, decarbonisation measures
