
Dr Joshua Le Blanc
Assistant Professor
Joshua holds a Ph.D. from the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics at the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada. He also holds a Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of New Haven, and Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from St. Lawrence University.
His research interests are broad, encompassing such topics as: understanding the effects of overparenting on emerging adult career development, informal caregivers (including student caregivers), and curriculum design. His co-authored works have received best paper awards at the annual meetings of the Academy of Management, and Administrative Sciences Association of Canada.
Joshua has authored numerous refereed journal articles, as well as a book chapter on generational identity in the workplace. At Heriot-Watt University, his main area of research concerns understanding how informal caregivers navigate their working lives once they no longer have caregiving responsibilities. Anyone interested in this topic of exploration is encouraged to reach out.
