Dr Abdelrhman Yusuf

Assistant Professor in Accountancy

Dr Abdelrhman Yusuf joined the Accounting department at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK as an Assistant Professor in Accountancy. Abdelrhman had previously worked at Cairo University before joining Heriot-Watt in Jan 2014 where he got his PhD. He received his MSc from the University of Dundee with First Class Distinction. Dr Yusuf has over ten years of teaching experience with undergraduate and post-graduate students. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA).

Background

Dr Yusuf is presently an Assistant Professor of Accountancy at Heriot-Watt University, UK. Prior to this, he has lectured and tutored for more than four years at Cairo University and tutored for three years while completing his PhD at Heriot-Watt University. During these years, he has taught a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. In addition to his work in academia, Dr Yusuf also provided consulting services to a variety of organisations in the public and third sectors.
